BARANGAY IGSOLIGUE

Vision/Mission

It is the mission of the barangay officials of Barangay Igsoligue to develop the barangay to the fullest of our abilities until the end of the three-year term in office. It is our hope that prosperity, peace and happy life with cooperation and support among its community. To strive that all infrastructure projects stated in the development plan will be be beneficial to the constituents. To grow flowering plants, herbal medicines and fruit bearing plants. That all households will have a backyard vegetable garden and to raise animals through livelihood projects. It is the dream of every officials to educate the parents that education is the best tool to help alleviate the living condition of each family and to be a help to the barangay.

Objectives

  1. Encourage barangay officials to pass barangay resolution asking financial assistance to the agencies concern.
  2. Implementation of barangay project through IRA funds.
  3. Develop watershed area by planting more mahogany trees and fruit trees and protect then from damage of large animals and cutting of some farmers near the area.
  4. Cooperation of barangay people through bayanihan system.

Strategies/Proposed Priority Projects

  1. Massive tree planting in watershed area.
  2. Encourage farmers, land owners by helping together for the improvement of their irrigation system.
  3. Asking support through Department of Agriculture.
  4. Solicitation of funds from the land owners and concerned agencies.
  5. By Bayanihan system and self-reliant.
