BARANGAY BARIRI


Brief History

Barangay Bariri, in the Ticdalan Valley is one place which has abundant supply of water throughout the years. For this reason its irrigated fields planted with rice, corn peanuts vegetables other crops without let up.

This place is located along side the upper Tumagboc River which separates it from the adjacent barangay of La Consolacion.

The Barangay was headed by Florencio Laron (1972-1979), others who served before him were Diosdado Fabillo and has Sub-Teniente Rosario Muega (1952-1955), Nicanor Felecana (1964-1967) and Pedro Millama (1968-1971). Residents honor their patron saint, St. Anthony, every month of April.


Vision/Mission

Construction of a hanging bridge. Improvement of the water system. Streetlights for the barangay. Development of the barangay chapel.

Objectives

  1. Implement all projects for the benefit of the barangay.

Strategies

  1. Solicit financial assistance to government agencies and government entities.
