Brief History
This place in the Bacauan Valley is 2 kilometers up from Naclub, 6 kilometers from the national road and 11 kilometers from the poblacion.
Bangcal trees, once abundant in there, gave the place its name. Old residents still recall Cabeza Eugenio Faca as one of the barrio's earliest head. Other heads were Tenientes Toribio Faca, Pio Faca, Rufino Montenid, Regino Faca, Ananias Nonaillada, Esperidion Falcu, Ernesto Nonaillada, Maximo Nonaillada, Salvador Fajura (1955-1965) and Jesus Nonaillada (1968-1971). This place is presently headed by Espectacion Npapawit (1972-1979 and Francisco Montenid (1997-present).
Objectives
- Livelihood Projects.
- Canalization of barangay roads.
- Install a new deep well and put up a water tank and install a GI pipe to be distributed to every houses of the barangay.
Strategies/Proposed Priority Projects
- To give a better life to the residents of the barangay.
- To strengthen and improve a quality of life of the constituents.
- To put up livelihood projects of the barangay.
- Appropriate a bigger amount for such projects.
