BARANGAY IGPANDAN


Brief History

Igpandan got its name from Pandan plants once plentiful in the place. Setting on the edge of a hill that stretches upward to Barangay Bacolod, it is 2 kilometers frp, Barangay Igbugp and 11 kilometers from the poblacion. Past Barrio Tenientes were Florentino Mondano, Francisco Mondano, Silverio Mondano, Demterio Nopueto and Sofronio Nino who served the barangay during and after World War II. He was succeeded by Mamerto Nequia (154-1955). Loreto Failaman (1956-1959)and Vicente Nopueto (1960-1963) followed by Resurreccion "Budok" Mondano (1964-1979).

To uplift the socio-economic condition of the barangay hand in hand with the improvement of basic support facilities and services.

  1. To increase barangay income.
  2. To expedite infrastructure projects.
